I'm new here and this is my first question.
I've got an IBM xSeries 346 and i try to configure it with the IBM ServerGuide for the Installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.
I already set up an other xSeries 346 and a xSeries 345 with succes.
When I insert the CD-Rom, the Image is loading from the CD and after a while comes the post:
"Loading Device Drivers"
Normally, it takes 20-30 seconds, but here it doesn't stop!
After 5 minutes I canceled the installation.
I tried much things, like redownloading the ServerGuide CD, Flashing the BIOS to v1.17 or stocking up the Mem to 4GB.
All of this doesn't help.

Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise is not supported for x346 and as result it can't be installed with IBM ServerGuide CD. Use only supported OS version from compatibility list:

Hi I have noticed on some forums that people have windows 2008 on their xSeries346 therefore there must be some way to installed 2008 on the 346. I have the same issue as experienced by Daniel above. Any help is much appreciated.
