Pinned topic IDMT Null handling - problem

‏2011-11-07T10:53:15Z |
Hi,

We are doing migration from sybase to db2 9.7. There is a smallint col in sybase with default "0" . While taking unload for a null value there is no value present in the output instead only delimiter is coming. In Db2 for this null value it has inserted "0" instead of inserting value "NULL". I want the same "NULL" value inserted into DB2. Can anyone suggest me how to take unload for null value and insert the same null value in db2.

Thanks,
Sivagami.

Can someone shed some light on this? Even small information also helpful.

This is strange and should not happen. If you have ~~ (means no value - It should insert NULL).

Can you please drop the default constraint in DB2 and try load again?
