Pinned topic COEC0121E : while logging on to Content manager Ondemand

‏2011-11-04T05:46:30Z |
We deployed xxx.war file on to weblogic server.

xxx.war contains all the necessary ICI jars and ODApi.jar

when we try to run it the following exception is thrown

COEC0121E : ODLogonException: check your logon credentials.

This error is not thrown while logging onto FileNet.

Please suggest

Unfortunately we do not support connector war deployment on WebLogic 10.

    https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=86&uid=swg27015930

My advice would be to ensure that this working from the ICI Administration tool using the ICI installation before trying it in the App Server. Did you follow step 2a in the ODWEK configuration steps? ->

Ensure that the path environment variable points to the Content Manager OnDemand Web Enablement Kit home directory. For example, set: PATH=C:\Program Files\IBM\OnDemand Web Enablement Kit;%PATH%

    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/ce/v8r6/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.discovery.ci.conn.doc%2Fcdncr011.htm

This could likely be the cause of the problem you see. Please retry as suggested above and let us know if you still have problems.

    Thanks.

Point of correction, this is actually not a connector war deployment. But the suggestion to reproduce using an ICI installation and the Admin tool still stands. This will help us in debugging the issue.

      Thanks.

        hi kechy,

We have tried placing the jars in weblogic lib directory-not succesful. The code is working when i run it as standalone application but when i deploy the war on Weblogic, throwing an exception COEC0121: credentials check.

Plz suggest me the procedure of logging onto Content manager ondemand using weblogic.

Follow these steps to enable debug logging ->

          1. Open the Odwek connector configuration in the Admin tool
          2. Check the checkboxes for Trace, Warning, Error, and Stdout
          3. Check your application server logs for the details on the exception pasted.

Note: You can also use the ICI logging server to have the logs written to ICI_HOME/vbr.log as follows:

          1. Start VeniceBridgeServices.bat/VeniceBridgeServices.sh
          2. In addition to the steps above, check the check box for Logging server and use the default URL
          3. Check vbr.log for details on the exception pasted.

Pls provide the stack trace details once you reproduce the issue.

          Thanks.

Do you see anything else prior to this in the logs? The snippet you pasted seems to be something that happens after the event in question. It does not give any root exceptions either.
