Pinned topic Recommendation for Bare Metal Recovery for Linux on Power system?

‏2011-10-27T14:37:00Z |
Hi,
We want to be able to perform Bare Metal Recovery on Red Hat Linux on a Power System 710. Can anyone recommend an IBM provided software product to allow this? When I look at Christie Bare Metal Recovery (5620-FSZ) and TSM FastBack ((5608-E08) they both say they will work for Linux, but on x86 Intel hardware. Can anyone offer another recommendation? Thanks

Hi, Ken! The IBM Power Linux Team is migrating to a new developerWorks Community - Think Power Linux. If you'd join us in this new community and post your question to the Message Board, I'll gladly respond.

We're trying to transition this forum to our new community.

I hate to provide a shameless plug, but you are asking for the very product we provide. Check out http://www.storix.com/linux. We provide a mksysb type of backup solution for Linux on Power as well as Linux on x86.
