We want to be able to perform Bare Metal Recovery on Red Hat Linux on a Power System 710. Can anyone recommend an IBM provided software product to allow this? When I look at Christie Bare Metal Recovery (5620-FSZ) and TSM FastBack ((5608-E08) they both say they will work for Linux, but on x86 Intel hardware. Can anyone offer another recommendation? Thanks

Check out http://www.storix.com/linux. We provide a mksysb type of backup solution for Linux on Power as well as Linux on x86.
