    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27022162

Here is the link to info center
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/bigins/v1r2/index.jsp

    Thanks!!!

The java jre that comes with biginsights is x64,
To install biginsights on i686 you can follow this (for experimental)
    1) Alter the install scripts to refer Fedora 9's JRE or some other x32 variant (modifying install scripts either override $JAVA_HOME or copy fedora JRE to JRE that comes with biginsights)
    2) Borrow ibmpkcs.jar & xml.jar from biginsights jre to resolve references
    3) Override the x64 vs x32 check in hdm-install-inplace.sh script

And, BigInsights gets installed on i686.

Did it on Fedora 14, hope that helps...

i have the same problem. server.out error.

i have changed jre and i cleared that error. but the welcome page is disabled. next button is disabled. what i do?
i downloaded the jre file from net and replaced to biginsights/java/jre.
i moved out from server.out error. The console page(welcome page)is opened.
But the next button of welcome page is disabled.

    What should i do?
    Thanks...

I had the same problem and I, simply, replaced the _jvm folder created by BogInsight installation script with the jvm already installed in OS.

Hello Mahendra, Have you found any solution for the disabled button on welcome page of installation ? I too face the same problem.
