Pinned topic Error importang new TUAM reports

‏2011-10-10T14:46:45Z |
Hi

We have a problem with TCR2.1 and importing new TUAM reports.

After deleting the old TUAM 7.3 reports and importing the new report pack 1 reports, the package is not visible under the polic folder location and not visible in the default starting location you log in in Reporting/Common Reporting.

After I select the new package in the import wizard, I see that on the second screen "Specify a new name and description" the location is set to "Administration". If I want to choose an other location, I would like to store this report package in the public folder, than this is not possible. I can only choose folders under the administration folder.

So I finish the import wizzard, with the default settings but they are not visible in the public folder.

If I view the properties (search path) of this report than it looks like this
/adminFolder/importDeployment

The default statistic report looks like this
/content/package

How can I reimport this package that it will be shown in the public folder ?

Thanks for your help and hints
Robert

      /content/package name='Common Reporting'
      /adminFolder/importDeployment name='TUAM 7.3 RP1'

    Hi,
In the help (clicked help on the import screen and searched for import), you see that location setting you see set to admin is the place to save the "import specication", not the actual reports. The impor spec can then be ran again later.

For the package location, click the pencil icon next to the package name when importing. I'll attach a screenshot. I would have expected this to be set to the public folder by default.

      Hello Dan

      Thanks for your reply
If I click the pencil for the package location, the public folder is selected by default, but if I save the report and view the path property, it shows the /adminFolder.

Can this be an permission problem, but I configure it with the tipadmin account and gave all user roles on the public folder full permissions?

        OK :)

The most important thing to too is, after you have finished the configuration, to run the import.

        So it works ;)
