Pinned topic Unable to log in to trial version

I downloaded the Cognos 30-day trial yesterday, but when I try to log in, it keeps telling me the provided credentials are invalid. I'm trying to use the IBM ID I set up yesterday - is that not the correct login for Cognos?

    hboswell,
    that id is only to download the software from the ibm. while installing the cognos you might have given the id and password , it may be administrator is id and it will ask for the password. you remember what password you have given. You need to enter these log in details.

    I am having the same issue. I tried resetting my password for the IBM id and also using the administrator account that I set up on installation but without success.

    Any further idea's would be appreciated?
