Pinned topic RDz Internal error in Connection Manager & TPF Core

‏2011-09-28T14:30:59Z |
Installing RDz V8.0.1 is causing some problems.
In this installation they have Win XP and Windows 7 Enterprise.
The installation seems to be fine in both environments.
In Win XP RDz is working properly accessing the remote host.
In Win7, when we start the RDz we get two errors :

An internal error occurred during: "Initializing Connection Manager".
An internal error occurred during: "Initializing TPF Core".

So, when we try to edit or browse a remote file from Win 7 it fails.
The first message in our .log file is
=======================================================================================
!MESSAGE An internal error occurred during: "Initializing Connection Manager".

I am not sure what to check, as this happens in all workstations with Win 7 Enterprise.
Does anybody have any hint?

    Hello!
This appears to be related to the problem reported in APAR PM30181 which is fixed in RDz 8.0.2
Would you check that installing RDz 8.0.2 fixes the problem?
    thanks, Violaine

      Hi Violaine
I followed your indications installing RDz V8.0.2 in the client, and now RDz starts correctly under Win 7, and we are able to edit the remote files.
So, it seems the problem is solved!

      Thanks for your help

Hi, I'm getting these messages in RDz v8.5.1.2 running on Windows 7 Enterprise.  Any ideas?

        Log entries.
