We have floating license (AppScan Standard 8.x) managed by a dedicated license server. Some of our AppScan machines are in different network segment protected by firewall that we need to specifically open some ports to allow the license usage. We have opened/allowed access to the default TCP port 27000 (the license service listens on this port) but the license still couldn't be used. Monitoring other working machines with Wireshark revealed there were also traffic in TCP port 1047 during license grabbing/usage.
Is this TCP port 1047 statically assigned? Will there be any other ports opened/required for the floating license usage? Is it documented somewhere?
We would need to request and document for firewall access approval.
