Pinned topic ITIC mapping fatal error

‏2011-09-23T20:24:56Z |
Hello everyone. I am making an integration between TAD4D 7.2.2 and TAMIT 7.2.2, using the latest ITIC version.

Some information about my environment:
TAD4D uses, as it must be, DB2 database.
TAMIT uses a SQL server 2008 database.

I followed the instructions showed in TAMIT infocenter to create the data sources, the mapping and loading the TAD4D72toDPA72.fsn to use those expressions and mapping settings.

But when I execute the command line executeMapping with all the required parameters, the following error shows:

======================================================== Start mapping execution Mapping: TADD-to-TAMIT ======================================================== 21 Sep 2011 16:26:42:400 [ERROR] -------------------------------- Error Number: 1 Error Message: Data source query failed Error occurred during: Retrieving

I can log in to ITIC (startFusion.bat) and look to the data sources and mappings by using the same user/password combination that I am using with the executeMapping.bat command. So the problem might now be related to credentials.

Am I missing some step to make the integration? Any idea about what I can do to solve it?

Thanks in advance. Regards. Andres.

      Hello andresmgs,

The SQL error you get is essentially a missing database object message. I would suspect the view addressed is somehow not accessible or has not been created properly.

I have not seen such problem before, PMR seems to be the right way to go in this case.

I have actually the PMR with L3 support. I will see what is happening with it, it seems weird.

        Thanks for your reply! Andres.

I suppose you are aware, that ITIC Adapter supports TAD4D 7.2.2 starting from 7.2.2.1 level ?

Also, please note, that this is ILMT-related forum.
For TAD4D-related topics please use TAD4D forum http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=2651
