We have RHEL 5.4 (Tikanga) installed on a IBM HS22 blade server.
On 16 and on 18th of sep, we have noticed machine lost remote control and when checked using local AMM console,
the OS was running but lost network connectivity. When pinged the gateway, we seen RTOs.
So we had to restart the server and then network was up and working properly. The network switch module has reported
no errors on the particular port. We have few network related entries at 15.30 hrs.
We are not sure if this is informational or warning or even an Error.
Please help to find the cause.

Re: RHEL 5.4 - need help to interpret network log entries in var log messages2011-12-01T23:22:42Z in response to SystemAdminI didn't see anything obvious in the log which indicated a particular problem. At 15:30 the system reports that it's shutting down, as you mentioned. Did you see anything notable around that time in any of the other log files?
