Hi,
Need urgent help on the below issue.

We recently changed one of our application jar file in our exisitng portlet factory war(WEB-INF/lib).Only jar changes and there is no model/code changes. After new jar replacement in existing WPF war file, started getting below method compile exceptions in runtime. Once we replace back to old jar file,we dont have any issues. but we want to go with new jar file. Need your suggestio to fix the method compilation error. even tried based on below tech note suggestions but stil same issue with new jar file. How to compile the .model files with our latest jar file?

I'm sorry, but there's not enough information there to tell what's going on.

Basically, a generated method appears to have invalid syntax when your model generates with whatever new application jar it is you are using. Without knowing how that jar is used, it's not possible for me to guess why the new jar might be causing that.

Note, that error may just be the symptom of another problem that's occurring earlier in the generation of your model based on the new application jar. I suggest looking in the event.log in the deployed application WAR's WEB-INF/logs folder on the server, to see if there are other errors/exceptions preceeding this compilation error, that might be caused by the change in API jar, that may make it more obvious why the new jar isn't working.

Thanks Mike. issue fixed. exception check was added in one of the API method signature that was causing the issue.
