Pinned topic MySQL -> DB2: Only first row of each table gets extracted

‏2011-09-06T08:20:05Z |
I've got a problem with moving some data from MySQL 5.1 to DB2 9.7.4. (147 tables, approximately 1.200.000 records in total)
The connection to source- and target database and everything else is fine.
But the Data Movement Tool only extracts the first row of each source table (and afterwards load it into DB2). Not the whole table.

Log entries look like this:
http://2011-09-06 09.57.15.678 Blade_0 unloaded 1 rows in 0.102 sec bi.a_task_id 7/147
http://2011-09-06 09.57.15.714 Blade_1 unloaded 1 rows in 0.207 sec bi.c_datei_fact 8/147
http://2011-09-06 09.57.15.724 Blade_2 unloaded 1 rows in 0.502 sec bi.a_datei_datum 9/147
http://2011-09-06 09.57.15.825 Blade_3 unloaded 1 rows in 0.604 sec bi.a_datei_fact 10/147

I can't find anything about a similar mistake on google or in this forum.
Thanks for every hint!

    by the way, of course the parameters

    limitExtractRows=ALL
    limitLoadRows=ALL

    are set correctly...

    Well, apparently the problem is not fixed, because I used the latest Version (2.00-b2111) for the data movement.

    Yes, I'm experiencing the exact same issue and I'm running the newest version as well.

    Any clues as to why we're only migrating the first row in each source table ?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hey Harry,

    no clue until now. I tried to use another program (http://www.sobolsoft.com/mysqldb2/) but without buying a license the tool only migrates approximately half of the database-records...

    Did you already find a tool to complete the job?

    Best, Christoph

    Just looked at the IBM-Tool again. New version is out - Error is fixed!

    Thanks a lot to the developer!
