Pinned topic Lifetime of cached grammar in Toolkit

‏2011-08-31T09:35:15Z |
Hey there,

As Voice Appication are subject of my Bachelor Thesis, I'm very new to developing them. While developing them I have to update my grammar files very often, but this is my problem.
How do I change the lifetime of the grammar cache in both, the Toolkit and on the WebSphere Voice Server?
When I change a keyword in my .grxml-file and save it, restart the built-in server of the toolkit and launch the .vxml-file on the server, it still recognizes the old keyword but not the new one.

Could you please help me? Thanks in advance!
Kind regards
Andy

    I found the solution:
    in ~/VoiceToolkit/WVS/cwv.properties
the value of {code}com.ibm.voice.server.rr.fetchexpires{/code} is the caching time in Milliseconds. The default value is set to 24 hours. For developing I set it to 30000 Milliseconds.

    Kind regards, Andy
