Live Partition Mobility is fully supported on Power7 using RHEL 6. For the complete list of supported Linux features, please refer to this link:

    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/lnxinfo/v3r0m0/topic/liaam/supportedfeaturesforlinuxonpowersystemsservers.htm

In order to support Live Partition Mobility, please install the productivity tools available here:

    http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/f/lopdiags/home.html

The direct link for RHEL 6 is:

    http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/f/lopdiags/redhat/hmcmanaged/rhel6.html

    Thanks,

    Brian
