‏2011-08-09T09:27:43Z |
I am trying to connect to SDMC using rest API.
I am referring to
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/director/sdk/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.usmi.dir612.doc/dir6_1_2_rest_documentation.html
I am unable to get the security certificate.
I don't have root access to this system
all I have is a user with Admin access.

please help

For information on SSL and IBM Systems Director using REST APIs, check out:
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/director/sdk/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.usmi.dir62x.doc/dir6_1_2_restgettingstartedssl.html

The end-to-end sample has code that demonstrates how to dynamically retrieve and accept the SSL certificate from the IBM Systems Director Server. You can see the sample code at this link:
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/director/sdk/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.usmi.dir62x.doc/dir6_2_1_end2end_power.html

    Specifically, examine the SystemsDirectorConnection.java class:
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/director/sdk/topic/com.ibm.usmi.dir62x.doc/code/e2epower/SystemsDirectorConnection.java

The IBM Systems Director Server includes the ikeyman tool that can be used to manually extract the SSL certificate from the keystore to a file. The ikeyman tool can be found in install_root/jre/bin/ikeyman on non-Windows platforms and install_root\jre\bin\ikeyman.exe for Windows installations.
    Instructions are provided here:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/director/sdk/index.jsptopic=/com.ibm.usmi.dir62x.doc/dir6_1_2_manual_ssl.html, but dynamic extraction is preferred.

    Hope this helps!

    That looks quite helpful.
    I will try now.
