I am having an issue with ISA, where the PATHs are too long. My machine is centrally managed using a PROFILE and I am running into issue since the PATH are too long and I am unable to log into my profile because of this. Windows XP has a known issue, where it allows you to install into PATH length longer and then when we try to access, it does not allow to access.
I have installed twice and did not get the option choose the directory to set my workspace.
1. How can I change the workspace path now?
2. Also the problem came from files in Symptom Database and Health Centre. I think IBM should also look into reducing the path length for these libraries to avoid this issue.

subst Q: C:\very\long\path\created\by\eclipse\or\some\other\application
Where Q: is a new drive letter and C:\very\long\path\created\by\eclipse\or\some\other\application is the very long path.
Let me know if that helps

Re: How to change ISA Workspace directory after install of ISA workbench2012-07-26T14:56:43ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer. You can change the workspace location by modifying rcp.data property in rcp/rcplauncher.properties file.
The safest way to change it is:
- shutdown the workbench
- move the workspace to a new location
- update the rcp.data property to point to the new location
- start the workbench
