Pinned topic DB2 Express-C 9.5.2 on Mac OSX 10.7 Lion

‏2011-07-27T19:55:28Z |
I was using the beta version of DB2 Express-C 9.5.2 for Mac OSX successfully for years on my MacBook with OSX 10.6.
Now, I upgraded the operating system to OSX 10.7 Lion ... after that, I'm unable to connect to the server via TCP/IP protocol.

/sqllib/db2dump/db2diag.log says:

Did anybody had the same problem - and solved it?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm jumping just into the same problem. Did you get a fix for this issue? Thanks a lot.

I also wonder if you succeeded with that. If there is no solution, maybe I should pospone upgrading my MacBook to Lion.

    Thank you.
    Antonio.

Well, finally I've upgraded to Lion, and despite the fact of people reporting success installing and running DB2 Express-C 9.5, It didn't work for me. I've tried many of the suggestions and workarounds found on Google, including booting in 32bit. My guess is that machines with a fresh installation of Mac OSX Lion from factory will be able to install and run DB2.

Hope someone at the DB2 team will take note of this for future enhancements.

    Best regards
    Antonio.
