We are working on a POT using CICS 4.1 Web Services, and here we are using CICS as Service Requester. We are dealing with some complex language structure issue, and planning to use the multiple container option that is available in CICS 4.1 to solve this issue. Can you please provide some guidance on how to create the Channel Description document and multiple containers (top down) using RDz tool?

Re: Creating Channel Description document and multiple containers (top down)2011-07-16T07:22:17Z in response to Ramesh15Hi Ramesh - Channel description documents (CDD) are relatively straight forward XML files. You can create them using an XML editor provided in RDz. The CDDs only make sense in a bottom-up scenario with CICS native (interpretive) XML conversion.
If you are using top-down, you may want to consider a top-down roundtrip where you create language structures from WSDL/XSD, create a template for provider, create your CDDs and run the RDz bottom-up wizard with the CDDs as language interface.

Re: Creating Channel Description document and multiple containers (top down)2012-08-10T20:57:04Z in response to mazogiHello,
Has the same issue as that of Ramesh. Need to create a channel description document. Am very new to XML concepts. Can you help me with a sample Channel description document.
For eg I have 2 structures
05 filler x(200)
05 filler x(500)
Both of these can have multiple occurances. Planning to have all occurance of "A" in one container (say Container CA) and all occirances of "B" in another container ( Say CB)
Thanks in Advance!
