Pinned topic iSeriesAccess_6.1.0-2 and iconv

Hi,
I have tried to integrate iseriesaccess into the thin client os "thinstation".
Starting the ibm5250 emulator I get the iseries logon screen, but there ist still a problem with
character translation. There are no characters displayed and typing a character has no result.
See error messages below running ibm5250 with debug option and then typing "abc".

5250: DEBUG : NSC0218: convertSessionKeyboardCodesToEBCDIC: locale-> ebcdic iconv rc = -1, errno = 9.
5250: DEBUG : NSC0218: input iconv data = 61
5250: DEBUG : could not convert Keyboard data to EBCDIC.
5250: DEBUG : NSC0218: convertSessionKeyboardCodesToEBCDIC: locale-> ebcdic iconv rc = -1, errno = 9.
5250: DEBUG : NSC0218: input iconv data = 62
5250: DEBUG : could not convert Keyboard data to EBCDIC.
5250: DEBUG : NSC0218: convertSessionKeyboardCodesToEBCDIC: locale-> ebcdic iconv rc = -1, errno = 9.
5250: DEBUG : NSC0218: input iconv data = 63

Any ideas - what is missing?

Regards
Karl

    Hi,
    Finally I've solved the problem by myself.
    The glibc modules for iconv conversion in /usr/lib/gconv were missing.
    Fortunately I found them in thinstation compile sources and I only had
    to add manually to my thinstation configuration.
    Now ibm5250 emulation works fine with thinstation.
