My Dell 14R series laptop did not detect LAN on network and shows "lo" instead of eth0.
please help me

It will always be present. If you type ifconfig as root what output do you receive? You have probably already checked this, but sometimes a network card will be disabled in the BIOS. You should be sure that the NIC is not deactivated. (You laugh, but I've done that!)
It could be a firmware issue. Obviously, and IBM site is going to have less information available for a Dell product, but here is a thread, "(SOLVED)No network interfaces on Dell Inspiron 14R N4010" which might have some useful information.
