Pinned topic creating a TBSM data fetcher to get data from ITM UA

‏2011-06-22T05:41:57Z |
Hi All,

I have installed UA on ITM 6.2.2 machine (but not added UA support on the TEMS)to monitor some IP,s status i.e. whether UP or Down, After that i want to create a custom canvas on TBSM showing the status of those IP,s, for that i tried to create a data fetcher , but i didn,t find Universal Agent (UA) under Agent id drop down list.Does any body know about the reason. please check the attached screenshot.

Did you restart the TBSM Dashboard after installing the UA agent? That is necessary to have it appear in the drop down list.

    Hi Michael,
Thanks for the reply, Yes , i have restarted the TBSM Dashboard but still the UA didn,t appeared under data fetcher drop down list, i think i have to add/install UA support on the TEMS server as well.

That is correct... and then restart the dashboard server (to avoid a "lengthy" delay awaiting the cache to clear).
