I am trying to convert the CASTIRON-IA mib to a mdl file using the Mibutility tool so that I can monitor using the Universal agent and it complains about CASTIRON-REGISTRATIONS-MIB missing ? Any ideas where I can download it ?

All the MIBs are inside castironsys.mib2011-03-29T16:17:21ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.
The Cast Iron MIB file, as it is downloaded from the WMC, contains many individual MIBs. The tool you're using is only able to find the first MIB entry in the file, so you'll need to break castironsys.mib up into separate files. Each individual MIB looks like
<MIB-NAME> DEFINITIONS ::= BEGIN<ul> <li> <ul> <li>All the contents of the <MIB-NAME></li> <li>...</li> <li>...</li> </ul> </li> </ul> END
Just create a separate file for each <MIB-NAME> entry (there are about 22 of them) and then your tool should be able to locate all the MIBs. If you are using Linux, this script can do the work for you.
sed -ne 's/DEFINITIONS ::= BEGIN.*//p' castironsys.mib |
while read mib; do
sed -ne "/^$mib/,/^END/p" castironsys.mib > $mib
<ul> <li> <ul> <li></li> </ul> </li> </ul> Layne
