Pinned topic Cast Iron Community Portal - Can't reset password

I'm trying to reset my Cast Iron Community password, but can find no place to do so. 
The user account screen doesn't contain a password field.
Anyone have any ideas?

    You should be able to do this by logging in to the community, clicking on "My account" in the left nav menu and then clicking on the "Edit" tab on the right.

    No option to set password under My Account | Edit

    No, there is no option to reset the password in this area.

    If you are an Authorized

    If you are an Authorized Contact you must do the following: 

    1. Go to http://www.castiron.com/contact-support. 

    2. Click on the forgot password link. 

    3. Enter your username and click submit. 

    4. You should have received an email with your username and temporary password. Use these credentials to log into 

    https://community.castiron.com/ 

    5. After providing the correct credentials and log in successfully, click on the support tab. 

    6. Click "here" link. Fill in the fields and click submit. (Note: Your old password is the temp password generated and sent to your email address) 

    7. After changing your password, you should now be able to use the new password to log in at: 

    https://community.castiron.com

    Password change still does not work

    The "forgot password" function sends a link allowing a one time login link, not a password.  You need a temporary password to change your password, and since one is never sent, it is impossible to change your password unless I am missing something.

    This has been resolved as

    This has been resolved as part of Case#00012618Resolution: Had to delete the existing user and create a new one, giving access only to the community portal.  ThanksAbhisekh

    Unable to reset Password

    I am having the same issue as this user.  I requested a password, received a temporary one and it tells me to reset my password, but there is nothing in the "edit" on my user account to change it.

    Abhi, I am having the same password problem -

    I reset it with the temporary one, but cannot enter a new one.  There is no place on the Edit page to do it.  I don't know why my password changed to begin with - I used it on Friday.
