CustomWare is scoping a potential project for RightNow integration to a data warehouse. One of the high-level requirements is to perform bulk querying of RightNow, e.g. bring down all contacts that have changed in the last 24 hours. Does anyone have an example of projects where this has been implemented, or best practices on how to do it (i.e. which RightNow connector activity works most efficiently?) Thanks!-Matt

RightNow queries2009-03-26T21:31:08ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer. You need to create a view in RightNow that you then reference in the search API. We have examples for contacts and opportunities.
RightNow limits the search response to 10000 results, so you will need to implement a while loop, then make sure the data is sorted by date ascending, and take the most recent date and pass it back into the search API after each iteration. When the response is 0 rows, you have exhausted the data set.
I will create a separate thread with an example report you can import to RightNow, and link it back here.
