Pinned topic Question on Exporting Job History

‏2010-01-26T00:31:39Z |
Hi All,
We are currently on 3.7.1.1. We have a job that runs every 15 minutes. In process of getting some statistics for the runs, I exported the logs for that specific job as an .xml file and imported it into Excel wtih the XML table option. It has lot of information, which is useful.
My questions:
1.) How do we get the Total run time (End Time - Start Time)? It could be an excel question. How do we compute this given that the 2 fields have T & Z in the time portion? Example below:
<table border="0" width="330" cellPadding="0" cellSpacing="0" style="width: 248pt; border-collapse: collapse">
<colgroup><col width="165" span="2" style="width: 124pt"></col></colgroup>
<tbody>
<tr height="20" style="height: 15pt">
<td height="20" width="165" style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 11pt; background: #b8cce4; width: 124pt; color: black; font-family: Calibri; height: 15pt; text-decoration: none; text-underline-style: none; text-line-through: none; border: white 0.5pt solid" class="xl63">2010-01-25T21:46:24.719Z</td>
<td width="165" style="border-right: white 0.5pt solid; border-top: white 0.5pt solid; font-weight: 400; font-size: 11pt; background: #b8cce4; border-left: #ece9d8; width: 124pt; color: black; border-bottom: white 0.5pt solid; font-family: Calibri; text-decoration: none; text-underline-style: none; text-line-through: none" class="xl63">2010-01-25T21:47:29.939Z</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
If we try to do a simple subtraction, the formula is coming out to be this: (But this is erroring out)
= Table1[This Row,endTime] - Table1[This Row,startTime]
2.) Should we be looking for Sequence 0 to get the overall job run time? It appears so (looking at the data) but I wanted to make sure it is correct.
3.) How do we remove the StartTime in the "ns1:Value" field to get the total records? Example below:
<table border="0" width="510" cellPadding="0" cellSpacing="0" style="width: 383pt; border-collapse: collapse">
<colgroup><col width="510" style="width: 383pt"></col></colgroup>
<tbody>
<tr height="20" style="height: 15pt">
<td height="20" width="510" style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 11pt; background: #b8cce4; width: 383pt; color: black; font-family: Calibri; height: 15pt; text-decoration: none; text-underline-style: none; text-line-through: none; border: white 0.5pt solid" class="xl65">Job started at 2010-01-25T15:01:25-06:00. 252 records retrieved for processing.</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
Thanks a lot in advance!

    You should be able parse this data easily using a Cast Iron orchestration. You can convert the date formats and get the time difference using Cast Iron Studio built-in functions.
    Hope this information helps
    Thanks,
    Vani.

    Hi Vani,
    Is there a sample orchestration that you can provide? Thanks.
