Pinned topic Freezing Columns in JSF Datatable

‏2011-06-20T04:04:11Z |
Hi,

I have a UI page in which i use a JSF Data table. This data table gets build dynamically from my backing bean. But now i want to freeze some of the columns and the horizontal headers.
Could any body suggest me what will be the best approach for that,

1) Is there any third party data table which may have certain attributes , which may solve this issue?
2) Or can this be achievable through java script.

Apart form this can the same data table may satisfy the following features?

-> Increasing column width by dragging the columns
-> Sorting on more than one columns at a time.

It would be great help if any body could suggest the best approach for the above. Thanks in advance.

What do you exactly meant by Freezing?

-> Increasing column width by dragging the columns
-> Sorting on more than one columns at a time.

For above two features, you can go for either richfaces or icefaces. With normal JSF datatable tag we can not avail the above features.
