    Assuming you are fetching a valid XML file.

    null FETCH var://context/ctx/myXmlDoc -> INPUT XSLT PIPE

    considering the above scenario; XSLT can refer to the file stored in "var://context/ctx/myXmlDoc" as:

    <xsl:variable name=myXmlDoc" select="dp:variable('var://context/ctx/myXmlDoc')"/>

    Upon re-reading your question; probably you're looking for document() in XSLT

    <xsl:variable name="myXmlDoc" select="document('local:///myXmlDoc.xml')"/>
