I have a exe file instrumented in PurifyPlus. But I can't start it due the error:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application".
What could be the reason of it?
MS Windows 7 x64
IBM Rational Purify 18.104.22.168

Re: Can't start exe file instrumented in Purify.2011-06-09T23:35:33Z in response to SystemAdminHi Alexander,
1. Note that you need PurifyPlus 22.214.171.124 iFix 001 in order to run on Windows 7.
2. Have you tried Purify'ing the sample HELLO.exe (probably located in your
C:\Program Files\IBM\RationalPurifyPlus\PurifyPlus\Samples\Purify directory)?
If that also fails, then I'd have to say that it's a likely problem with
64-bit Windows 7.
In general, you can run PurifyPlus on 64-bit Windows, as long as your app
itself is a 32-bit app. However, I've run into several instances now where
64-bit Windows 7 just doesn't work.

I've found only evaluation version witch can't accept the license.
Is there a non-evaluation version available for downloading?
Re: Can't start exe file instrumented in Purify.2012-04-06T12:19:51Z in response to SystemAdminI am exactly facing same issue.

Help me to fix the issue.

RAM : 3GB
Application : running 32 bit debug application.
Re: Can't start exe file instrumented in Purify.2012-04-06T16:51:04Z in response to SystemAdmin1. Note that it's important to install PurifyPlus and run PurifyPlus as "Administrator"
on Windows 7.
2. Be sure you've built your application with the "Recommended Settings" in Visual
Studio. (See attached HTML file.)
