I have an access database, which stores the data for my opl model. Now, I want to create the project with the same opl model in ODM. Also, to create my Application Data Model(ADM), I will reverse engineer from the database tables to create my tuples. I inserted the following code in deployment_dev.odmds file, after which the connection shows in the database connections tab.
<!-- The name of the JDBC driver for your database -->
<!-- The general URL for the ODBC driver is jdbc:odbc:<Name Of the ODBC datasource> -->
<!-- No need for authentication for the Microsoft Access database -->
When I deploy the project and create a default scenario, the error message I get is Error connecting to the database, check it is accessible and properly initialized (URL: 'jdbc:odbc:oilDB').
I don't know whether the driver is correct or not or if there is any other issue.
Please Help its urgent.

Re: Unable to make a connection to Microsoft Access Database by ODM2011-07-04T14:08:31Z in response to raghu1987Found the most robust way to create connection to access database. What needs to be done is create a odbc datasource & use its name while connecting to database. Access Driver needs to be installed first, which is available on microsoft website.
