Pinned topic How do I modify or turn off checks

‏2011-05-18T16:52:03Z |
I have several checks failing on my linux servers. I need to know how to adjust the monitor thresholds and how to turn off certain checks. For example, our servers don't run inetd as it the services it manages are not used in my environment. Ideally, I would like to just disable the check for inetd in the server process check. Where do I do this?

Here is the check result message:
#########################################
  1. inetd ... not_ok
#
  1. min=1, max=* ... found: 0
#
#########################################

    I answered my own question...

    ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/data/cm/filenet/fn2ibm_migration/ProductInfo/Products/FileNetSystemMonitor/ProductDocumentation/3_5_xDocumentation/FSMUsersGuideMonitoringManager.pdf

You have to use the calamoma which is the FSM monitoring Manager.

Click on Open Active monitor configuration
Pick the Processes http://STANDARD.cepest, STANDARD inetd,1.

I decided to remove inetd and add a check for the Java processes for the FileNet components.
