Pinned topic DLPAR utils unable to be installed in chroot environment

‏2011-05-18T12:21:47Z |
Hi, I'm trying to build DLPAR enabled SLES11SP1 appliance, but it fails, since on install src puts itself on /etc/inittab and then starts.
In chroot, src is able to be installed but not started. And then other csm and Dynamicrm packages unble to be installed, because src is not started.

Is there any plans to move to standard init scripts? And do not perform any start/stop operations on package install? Instead of provide basic setup script as for example mysql package provides mysql_install_db.

Here is log:

Please move thread here: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=1098&start=0 , as my question more about "service and productivity tools"
