Pinned topic Keystore was tampered
I'm getting lots of this Error-Message in C:\Program Files\IBM\Director\lwi\logs\error-log-0.html
2011/05/12 16:41:07.100 SCHWERWIEGEND Repository exception : com.ibm.tivoli.cas.client.RepositoryException: java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect ::class.method=com.ibm.usmi.client.cas.usmiimpl.AgentManager.getAMClient() ::thread=HardwareStatusCategory Worker <6 of 10> ::loggername=com.ibm.usmi.client.cas
The Director-process (java.exe) is using 100% cpu, and director is not working properly.

With that error I would think you probably cannot unlock a CAS endpoint - is that true?
If you are on ISD Server 6.2.1 or greater and you can't unlock a CAS endpoint you can reset the Agent Manager password which should fix the error.
Stop Director server - netstop dirserver
Navigate to - <INSTALL_DIR>\IBM\Director\lwi\runtime\agentmanager\bin - and run these two batch files
Where newPassword is the new password you want applied
Start Director server - net start dirserver
Now run this command > smcli changeAMRegPassword <IPAddress of Agent Manager> <New Password>
The IPAddress of Agent Manager is usually the same as the IP Address of your ISD server - use smcli getAgentManagers if you are not sure.
The 100% CPU issue - tons of causes from insufficient disk space to lack of memory with the older 6.1 32bit version. There is a performance paper available that might get you started
I think the link above is available to the public.
Hope this helps

Hi, I am trying to reset the Agent Manager password. My env is below;
IBM systems director v184.108.40.206 on Windows 2008 R2.
check this URL;
I try that, but I can not issue the last command.
c:\Program Files\IBM\Director\bin>smcli changeAMRegPassword 192.xxx.xxx.xxx password
-> The Error shows
Error: Invalid command or invalid bundle and command combination
Do I really need to issue the "smcli changeAMRegPassword" command?
It seems to be change the command successfully. (Only the "smcli changeAMRegPassword" command failed.
Any advise is appreciated.
