Pinned topic BBOWMG1F error?

‏2011-05-10T08:57:57Z |
I'm running the jobs to do a federated node migration on z/os. I've run the BBOWMG1F job and got RC=0 for all steps. However, right at the bottom of the output I've notice this message

[: /tmp/migrate/bbomigrt2.sh 714: FSUM6807 expression syntax error

This is the code around line 714:
#
# 542350, add symbolic link support
#

if ${createIntermediateSymLink} = true
then
echo "creating Intermediate symbolic link ${Real_SMPEHome} ${TO_SMPEHome}..."
createIntermediateSymbolicLink ${Real_SMPEHome} ${TO_SMPEHome}
else
echo "User chose not to create Intermediate symbolic link ..."
fi

Looks OK to my inexpert eye.

Is this message important? I'm getting errors later in the migrate process so I'm tracking back to see if I can find out why.

Cheers
Graham

    Hi Graham,
I'm one of the WebSphere testers who has executed several migrations on z/OS. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. I was in the process of installing IM so I could use it to install an iFix on my system before I could re-run a migration. Today I migrated a WAS6.1 node agent to WAS8. I, too see that error at the bottom of the BBOWMG1F and BBOWMG2F job output. The migration seems to go fine though, so I am wondering what symptoms/problems are you seeing related to this after the node agent is migrated?

      Hi Terry,

Thanks for the reply. You can see the problems that I've had in my "Migration Problems" thread on this forum.

      Cheers
