I am trying to install the SDK into Explorer.
IBM CICS Explorer SDK 22.214.171.124_201103311702
into Beta April 2011 build id: 201103311702
It fails with the following message:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: IBM CICS Explorer SDK 126.96.36.199_201103311702 (com.ibm.cics.explorer.sdk.feature.feature.group 188.8.131.52_201103311702)
Missing requirement: CICS Java SDK Plug-in 184.108.40.206103311702 (com.ibm.cics.explorer.sdk 220.127.116.11103311702) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.pde.core 0.0.0' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: IBM CICS Explorer SDK 18.104.22.168_201103311702 (com.ibm.cics.explorer.sdk.feature.feature.group 22.214.171.124_201103311702)
To: com.ibm.cics.explorer.sdk http://126.96.36.199103311702
Are there any known incompatibilities? A fresh installation or starting with -clean did not help.

Re: Explorer SDK does not install into Explorer2011-05-05T13:58:39Z in response to SystemAdminHi Isabel,
The CICS Explorer SDK provides all functions of the Explorer, and is for installation into Eclipse (or Eclipse based products). The Explorer SDK is not designed to install into the CICS Explorer.
If you only require the functions of the Explorer, then you can just use the standalone Explorer product.
If you also require development features, or prefer to use your existing Eclipse environment, you can install the Explorer SDK into an Eclipse IDE instead.
Hope that clears this up for you!
