    The latest version of TXSeries is 7.1.

    By TCP/IP communication, if you mean the IPIC protocol, that was newly introduced in TXSeries 7.1, no, it is not
    supported with TXSeries 5.1

    However you can use the CICSTCP and ppc_tcp protocols to communicate between a TXSeries 7.1 and 5.1 regions. (both of which are based on TCP/IP).
