Pinned topic Any idea to limit the values of port of cicsases?

‏2011-04-08T06:51:55Z |
Hi,
I've got port confliction between cicsas and my application.
During invoking a tcp socket application, a port confliction happened with cicsas. Some investigation about the confliction showed that each cicsas hold a tcp port number which had no rule.
So unfortunately conflictions had happened sometimes.

question:

Can txseries limit the range of ports of cicsas?

The version of TXseries is v7.2.0.1 + fixpack 2 + interim fix 13.
Running OS is AIX v6.1 TL04.

Thanks in Regards,

    Hi,

You can try RPC_RESTRICTED_PORTS and RPC_RESTRICTED_SERVER_PORTS to restrict the ports used the region processes. You can see the details in this link:
