Pinned topic Wrong JDK being requested when starting WAS 8.0 beta first time on IBM i

‏2011-04-07T19:27:36Z |
I've installed WebSphere Application Server v8.0 beta on my IBM i running 7.1.
I'm now trying to startServer server1 for the first time ever.
I receive the message:
001-0014 Command /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk626/32bit/bin/java not found.

I don't have that location, but do have:
/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk60/32bit/bin/java

Getting Started requirements say, and I have, 5761JV1 (option 11), Java SE 6 32 bit.
Is there a place I can configure the startServer to look at my jdk60?
Or do I have to get the jdk626?

thank you
-doug

    Hello,

Only jdk626 is supported for the WebSphere Application Server v8.0 beta. You obtain jdk626 by applying the required PTFs documented in the information center at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/beta/topic/com.ibm.websphere.installation.base.iseries.doc/info/iseries/ae/cins_is_prqsvr.html

Yes, it was the missing PTF's
(thought I had got them, but obviously I missed them)
    Thank you
