Pinned topic No Schemas Using System Naming

‏2011-04-06T12:45:23Z |
It seems there is a bug in IBM Data Studio. If you set naming to be system, which i was only able to achieve using the 'Other Driver Default', IBM Data Studio won't show any schemas for the database. If you create a new connection using SQL naming they show up fine. This makes it very difficult to work with database objects when SYS naming is your desired naming type. Are there that few people doing this that it has gone unnoticed?

I am still having this problem. Under naming convention of *SYS i am unable to view tables or sprocs. Is there a work around? Or is IBM i just left out of luck on this?

Have you tried with "AS/400 Toolbox for Java Default" driver with latest Data Studio version 3.1.1 ?

I've the same problem. If i configure the driver to use naming=system, i'm not able to see any schemas.
