I heard many people that XML and HTML .But i want to know the basic difference between them.Thanks

    XML is mainly for data exchange.
    HTML is mainly for web display.
    I think.
    But also some in common.
    For example , we can wrap the data as xml format, and us xls to format it's style, so it can be displayed in Exploer.

      As far as my knowledge regarding XML and HTML is concern. Web browsers only understand the HTML and in case of XML is also same but you can reuse data of XML.

    HTML was designed to display data.
