Pinned topic Custom login page

‏2011-03-11T10:49:43Z |
I have created a custom login page.

When I log off, how can I redirect Cognos to go to my custom login page rather than the default login?

    Hey, we are also looking at creating a custom login page because a warning message has to be displayed. How did you create yours? Was it straight html with the login page or an SDK solution?
    Thanks

    Set this parameter in the system.xml file to true and put your URL in the redirect-url expression.

    <param name="custom-auth">
    <logoff enabled="false">
    <!-- URL to direct to upon logoff. Note: the 'redirect-url' url specified is subject to validation at runtime -->
    <redirect-url> </redirect-url>
    </logoff>

    You'll find system.xml here by default:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\cognos\c10_64\templates\ps

    Here are some other fun parameters that you'll find in the file that affect toolbars in the viewer and portal:

    <!-- Hiding the Logon menu in the Cognos Connection -->
    <param name="ui_hide">
    <CC_HEADER_MENU_logon/>
    <!-- RV_HEADER/ -->

    <!-- Left hand side of the IBM Cognos Viewer header -->
    <!-- RV_HEADER_MENU/ -->
