Pinned topic IBM DS4700 Host Type

‏2011-02-06T09:47:04Z |
Dear All,

We have delivered IBM DS4700 storage to a client.

Their servers are running Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 operating systems which are connected to the storage. The host type are configured non-clustered on the storage.

If they want to change the host type from non-clustered to clustered configuration, how is the effect on the server and the data on the storage? Does the tasks require servers to restart to ake effect or this will work dynamically?

Please advice on the matter. Your urgent response is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Silentguy
