When using WebSphere Adapter for SAP , the error 'Max no of 100 Conversations exceeded' is seen in the RFCtraces and the connection to the SAP is lost .
This is a known issue on the SAP end , as indicated in the SAP Note #314530. One can overcome this error by setting the environment variable CPIC_MAX_CON should be set to a value greater than 100, for example: "CPIC_MAX_CONV=200".
Note: This variable has to be set both on the SAP server and also on the environment where the broker/runtime resides with the WebSphere Adapter for SAP Software.

thanks, good to know that there is such option and limit.
Is this really 100 connections?
If so, many SAP admins might hesitate to further increase this number because of the number of work processes being consumed. In this case, you might want to limit the number of connections in the connection pool on the broker side.
