Pinned topic Serverraid m5015 & Red Hat Enterprise 6

IBM x3620 m3 (7376AC1) with ServerRAID m5015 and eight 1TB SAS disks
Select six disk and build RAID 5 array
Start RHEL 6 installation
Installer sees 4.6 TB disk /dev/sda
I want to place /home on this so I select standard partition, ext4, use full disk space
Installer only allocated 2 TB will not allow me to access missing 2 TB
Tried LVM and soft RAID on top - all balk at 2TB

My understanding is ext4 can handle 16TB - What is going on here?

Thanks Ian, that did the trick. I used gparted to set the disk label to gpt then RHEL 6 installed on the 4.5 TB.
