Pinned topic Clustered NFS vs Full Cluster

‏2010-10-25T17:44:35Z |
Our GPFS cluster (ver 3.3.0.2) was originally setup as a clustered NFS. We would like to start moving nodes from clustered NFS to Full GPFS. We are running into difficulty after installing the RPM's and compiling the portability layer on Red Hat AS 4 systems, install works fine but doing mmstartup we get: This node does not belong to a GPFS cluster. We are wondering if it is our configuration that is causing the issue. mmlsconfig output:

autoload yes
minReleaseLevel 3.3.0.0
dmapFileHandleSize 32
cnfsShareRoot /nfs
nfsPrefetchStrategy 1
cnfsVIP storage
adminMode central

Do we need to make cluster alterations to run the compute nodes on GPFS rather than clustered nfs?
Thanks.

Use mmaddnode to add the nodes that you want in the GPFS cluster.
