Pinned topic secure root in HA AIX servers

‏2010-10-20T04:25:58Z |
Dear All,
would like to seek your advice. currently, we can login to root directly, if we disable the login to root, only SU to root is allowed, do we have impact to HACMP cluster? currently we are using rhost and we are able to login between clustered servers without password supply.
Hope to hear from you. Many thanks

HACMP no longer uses rsh for communication between nodes. So if you are running a current version of HACMP it should be no problem to disable root login.
