Pinned topic Rich Text Field Editing Problem

‏2010-09-22T07:39:19Z |
We are using RPM version 7.1.1.2. We applied IFix11. Now we have a problem with Rich Text Fields. Let me explain step by step:
Firstly, I created new issue in Scope Management, then I filled Issue Description Field like Figure1.

When I checked out, content of Issue Description Field corrupted as you can see in the Figure2 and Figure3

Is there any solution for this problem?

    Hi,

We have done deepest search about this problem. Finally we found that this problem not RTF specific problem. If you use ' character in any string in the RPM, application puts extra ' character. For example if you type " Ahmet's Task " in task name, RPM converts this task name to " Ahmet''s Task ".

When I examined Web Application Server logs (in our case Tomcat), I determined that RPM uses execute method of com.ibm.rpm.rpmservlets.Query class when it updates or inserts text fields.

May be this problem arised after RPM 7.1.1.2 IFix 11.

Is there any body who uses RPM 7.1.1.2 IFix 11 ?

    Best Regards,
