‏2010-08-22T18:19:11Z |
Hello, I just installed Batch Feature Pack and configured it. I deployed SimpleCIEar app and invoked it through jmc console. I get the following error.

CWLRB5684I: 08/21/10 21:37:16:015 EDT Job SimpleCIEar:00001 is queued for execution
CWLRB3112E: 08/21/10 21:37:16:031 EDT Job ID SimpleCIEar:00001 could not be dispatched. Required Capability was not found in the Grid Execution Environment.

My installation environment:
WAS V7.0.X test environment installed through RSA then updated to FP11 with update installer then installed the Batch feature pack using IBM installation manager on my laptop windows-XP.

I would appreciate your help.

thanks
Nags

    Hello,
Have you tried restarting your server after installing the SimpleCIEar application ? A restart is required to start a system app we auto-deploy during install of the first user app.
    Thanks

For referece to other readers the problem has been resolved. It turns out the problem was that the first batch application was installed immediately after installing the Batch FeP. The recommended way is to install the Batch FeP, recycle the server, configure the job scheduler, install the first batch application and then restart the server again.

      Thanks
