Hi,

I am working in one instance "db2inst1" and when i am trying to attach to another instance "db2inst2", i am getting the following error "SQL1097N The node name was not found in the node directory. SQLSTATE=42720". I cataloged for both node as well as database using the following command.

DB2 CATALOG TCPIP NODE TCP633 REMOTE 172.26.4.24 SERVER 50001 OSTYPE LINUX
DB2 CATALOG DATABASE DEPDB AS DEPDB AT NODE TCP633 AUTHENTICATION SERVER
still i am getting the same error. Pls. advice me.
